Amy began working as camp counselor at various overnight summer camps during her freshman year of high school. When she got to Northwestern, she discovered teaching artistry as a way of beautifully merging her interests both in the theatre and working with children. She has taught drama to students ages 3-18 with various theatre companies and summer programs, including the National Student Leadership Conference and Lookingglass Theatre. Additionally she has experience working in education administration, creating study guides and accessible theatre engagement opportunities for families, both with Imagine U and Writers Theatre. She loves watching her students gain self confidence by opening up their imaginations and learning to work as an ensemble.
